So I watched a movie and it was just like.. head spinningly good.

"The man from Earth"

A man claims to be 14,000 years old and recounts a lot of his history in front of some fellow teachers while he is saying goodbyes.

I have to check out this movie, thanks for the recommendation. Is it a recent release or old school stuff?

Ok these are what i classify as thinking movies i have seen and enjoyed, feel free to disagree:

I like ones where the movie ends and you say to yourself WOW how did anyone think up that, thats awesome.

Fight club
The last mimzy
The prestige
The illusionist
Swordfish
The matrix
The nines
The air i breathe
Into the wild
Crash
The lives of others
...
...
...

Anime like Spirited Away is a bit wtf.. i need to get more of these sometime.

Also a lot have weird names i will have to scan through some and see if there are any more i cant think of by name.

Donnie Darko
(avoid the director's cut until you've seen and mulled over the original)
Who do you think you are? If you'd stopped winning, you could have been the Biggest Loser, if you gave up, you could have been a Survivor, if you'd stopped reading Orwell, you could have been on Big Brother!

It's a lot more explicit in terms of what the writer's intentions were... doesn't leave as much room for your to draw your own conclusions.

Otherwise much the same.
