Ah, that's an old PR dodge - have them admit to something shameful, because they're more likely to garner sympathy that way.

Also:
The IP business has been serious for a while, although mostly just within the domain of software development. In particular are questions about who owns what code if it's been coded at work or uni, during lunchbreaks, after hours, using work resources etc etc

It's a sketchy area, but I can't say I haven't taken work I've done from previous jobs - not to repackage in their entirety or whatever, but just so's I don't have to recode the damn things from scratch.

Ha, haven't heard that one before... I always like the the simple fugly... But then I'm not one that enjoy's criticising people so never really used it in practice.... except about emily /shudder
