Well I can see the problem. You're using ASP.Net services.

For WSUS?

Why would I want to do that?

Didn't mean WSUS, I meant ASP.Net.

Kettle calling the Pot black though, I just had a verbal sparring match with a worker regarding a ASP.Net service and issues with authentication and security.

Just seemed like a bad joke at the time :)

Yeah but why would I run WSUS on PHP? (Pretty sure it can't be done, thanks M$)

Your fucking confusing me mideh!

php is pretty horrid too, tbh (but not anywhere near as bad as ASP)

ColdFusion was actually a lot more fun to work with, but it's proprietary and rare, so those days are gone.

On another note: Anyone want to help set up Apache in a chroot jail?

Thought not... :-(

You wouldn't believe what I discovered today: FortiGuard has gone too far (or actually, our school board). All laptops have been banned from all internet access (excluding our school boards website), including teachers laptops. see for yourself:

Now WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT! We live in a society where EVERYTHING is technologically based. How can those fucking pricks (our school board and fortiguard) block out internet to their students and teachers? Holy Shit this is making me pissed. Want to know something else that's even more fucked up? The computer science classroom in our school has NO access to the internet. why? their afraid we will hack our schools network... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! If anyone wanted to hack the schools network, by all means there are Hundreds of other computers available with internet in our school! oh my god, the catholic school board of London, Ontario, Canada needs to get their dicks out of their asses and get their fucking heads screwed on straight. Its as simple as Inhibiting access to the internet to those who do not adhere to reasonable policies (such as watching porn at school). Rather, those idiots are too fucking LAZY to do any work themselves, so they implement a board wide restriction policy. what does this mean? this means that students such as myself, who RELY on access to the internet (and a fast computer-> the reason i have a laptop and don't use school computers) to study programming material for computer science class (other than those provided by the teacher, as shown below), work on assignments, research, and providing a means to educate myself beyond what is taught in a classroom (for example with you tube/Google videos on how to use auto CAD). ladies and gentlemen, a picture/diagram speaks a thousand words...a movie...hundreds, if not millions. the value of a video (for those of us who are visual learners...) is absolutely tremendous, yet that opportunity is stripped from us because our school board is run by Idiots who view all teenagers/high school students under one big stereotype, thinking we all have bad intentions and will abuse any privileges given to us. Wake Up. Information should not be censored to this extreme.

Aye, I feel your pain - I used to work for a company doing software development, and they'd block us from the blogs of industry leaders. /golfclap

Except when you block net access for a bunch of software developers, you more or less guarantee that there are going to be 101 different people using different methods of circumvention.

Depending on how insane our current government is, we may end up with everything google being blocked for the entire country. So, you know, that'll be fun.

On a slightly related note, fortinet firewalls are the shit <3

Pair it up with the FortiAnalyzer and FSAE and you can rape cunts being lazy at work... which is usually only me but I'm the only one to read the reports!

Just a reminder:
Filters Don't Work

Even Fortinet can't block everything, unless it actually blocks everything, in which case you may as well unplug your internets and party like it's 1989.
