Ah petty tantrums between big corporations, it's like mommy and daddy fighting on super scale, and without the sad side of things.

From what I've read there is no clear idea what went down but if a large portion of IW turn up at Respawn, we at least know who had the respect of the workers... or gives out bigger pay packets :mrgreen:

It's probably down to how you treat your talent - back in the day there was a highly talented developer called 2015. Around 2003, the core people upsticks and left, forming Infinity Ward.

2015 is still around, but without the core talent, it's just a name.

All just a little bit of history repeating - publishers aren't known for their foresight, but I hope EA understands that this is a temporary investment.
