Qantas, after establishing that the snake was not threatened or endangered, fumigated the aircraft to kill the four pythons.

The Stimson's python, native to western and central Australia, preys on small mammals, birds, frogs and other reptiles — but they are not venomous

I guess the only real reason to kill them is incase they get in the mechanical shit + electrics... which I thought could lead to such hilarious scenarios, I'm disappointed.
