/facepalm

Just because you drink cognac at home and walk around in a maroon bathrobe doesn't make you any better online; comments like:
"If I were to be the CEO of Google or the founders of Google I would be very [displeased] that the best search engine in the world continues to provide as a first link, Wikipedia," he said."Is this the best they can do? Is this the best that [their] algorithm can do?"
...only serve to illustrate a complete lack of understanding of how the internet (and google in particular) works.

Wikipedia is listed first because wikipedia is linked by more people.

Wikipedia is linked by more people because it is more than Britannica and all of its articles are free.

Ergo, Google returns the result that most people want.

When was the last time someone linked you a Britannica article? Why would you want it?
Who do you think you are? If you'd stopped winning, you could have been the Biggest Loser, if you gave up, you could have been a Survivor, if you'd stopped reading Orwell, you could have been on Big Brother!
