Thisis a classic example of correlation being intentionally misrepresented as causation to cause idiots to believe something that isn't true.

Law enforcement has contacted Microsoft about this matter
It is possible that police will ask Microsoft to divulge the list of players with whom Brandon Crisp has played recently
Oh great .. now I have the potential to be harrased by the police because some nub in a game does something wrong IRL.

Yes officer, I saw him run of with a gnome... oh about 3 foot tall, female, with pink hair in two pony tails, yes she was into demonic things, called herself a warlock, definate devil worship - had some big guy with an axe following her....
And if my thought-dreams could be seen
They'd probably put my head in a guillotine
But it's alright, Ma, it's life, and life only.

That... that is just win.

The caption is what makes it for me.

"Tests find poo in Coogee Bay Hotel ice cream sample"

http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,24 ... 21,00.html

* Tests reveal traces of poo in ice cream
* Not yet known if it's human or animal
* Coogee Bay Hotel staff to give samples

That line requires context fixing because, despite the offer, I will pass on a sample of poo laced ice-cream even if it's free.

err it says at the end of the article
The eastern Sydney hotel yesterday received the results of its own lab tests on the chocolate gelato tub involved, saying it cleared the ice-cream of any contamination.

Science: Every time you misuse it, a baby dies.

Basically, the family involved, I'll call them Whiny White Trash have had tests done on their sample, but not supplied that sample to the hotel or anyone else (other than the people who lab tested theirs).

That test has shown up positive for bilirubin, which I guess is found in high concentrations in number twos. Or something.

First I've heard of it, but then I'm no poopologist.

Anyways, while the family's test has naturally condemned the restaurant, the restaurant's own test, on their tub 'o' (already suspiciously poo-coloured) icecream has, surprise surprise, come up negative for pooping.

My guess? The woman in question was being a dick and whining too much, and some staff member decided to take a dump and pass the savings along to the customer.

It's like trickle-down economics (Piss on the Bastards economics) except more viscous.

The lesson:
Treat your wait staff with respect, you obnoxious apes, they're serving you things that you put in your mouth.

Same goes for anyone else who puts things in your mouth. Trust me.

Don't even go there re: people putting things in your mouth. My last experience with a Japanese dentist was a guy filling my cavity without any gloves or face mask on. When I asked him to please don proper attire, you know what his response was?

"Why? Do you have AIDS?"

The ice cream isn't the problem. It's the fudge topping that shits me off.

(Sorry. It had to be said.)

Rubbish Psych Provides Mixed Messages

Actually, I can't tell if it's the awful journalism, or just the badly presented research.

*Men are more likely to cheat
*They're more precise at picking when partners cheat
*But they have more false positives

Uh huh.

No wait - better headline:

Slow news week produces pointless articles about sex, facebook
