My favourite bit is the quote from outraged family activist groups.
"Killings and violence on TV isn't so bad... but when someone's breast is exposed for 1 second? UNFORGIVEABLE!"
These are the same people who breastfeed their kids for like 5 years...
-.-
Boobs, like penises, really aren't that much of a big deal. Our society needs to move on.

Who do you think you are? If you'd stopped winning, you could have been the Biggest Loser, if you gave up, you could have been a Survivor, if you'd stopped reading Orwell, you could have been on Big Brother!

There's a button on the right column to allow you to test your DNS.
Unless you run an ISP or whatnot, you won't have to patch anything yourself; this test just checks to see if your ISP/company/stolen internets has their DNS patched.
If it doesn't you don't want to be doing anything sensitive until you point to a safe DNS or your ISP patches.
If your DNS is vulnerable (it probably won't be, but good to check) and you want to know more about changing your DNS servers, let me know.

This analogy isn't perfect, but it's kinda like this:
MacDonald's donate a special tomato slicer to Burger King that will improve their Whopper, saying that it shows their support for the "open improvement of burgers everywhere" and will hopefully encourage people to purchase more Whoppers from MacDonald's.
No wait, that's not right.
Maybe if BK were an open source burger company that gave away their burgers for free, and allowed you to include parts of their burgers with your own burgers that you were allowed to onsell to other people.
Actually, this analogy totally doesn't make sense.
Much like Microsoft's move here - they've been donating code and money to a product that directly competes with their own product (IIS), and specifically supporting another product that directly competes with another of their products (ASP).
I think it's awesome, but the business thinking for making a decision like this must be complex indeed.

So, this article about American swimmer Michael Phelps, who is about to become the winningest Olympic Athlete ever, is a pretty good overview:

The "..." part, however, is in the middle and easily skipped over. Hell, I almost missed it myself.

Oh, I've thought about it. I've even done it. But like most people, I will deny it until the day I die.Perfection. That sums up the gangly 23-year-old from Baltimore who loves rap music, pimped-out cars and doing things in the pool that no one else even dared to think of.

@Phil:
"Winningest". "Winningest"?
Sigh.
Someone gets a spanking.

Not you, the journalist.
And remember kids:
Just because a word is in the dictionary, doesn't mean it should be used.
Especially in a headline.

A dude from my office had this to say in response to the 2nd last paragraph:
"Yeah, but in 6 months time everyone will have a better cravat from just getting on a plane in the first place"
