Interesting. I know we have a few Kiwis here who've taken advantage of the relatively open arrangement between Oz and NZ - I'm curious to see if there are any insights from people on the ground (in WA I haven't encountered Kiwis in the numbers I'm led to believe can be found in Melb/Syd/Qld)

We have South African friends who are using NZ as a back door into Australia. Once they qualify for NZ citizenship/residency the path into Australia is much less onerous as I understand it.
