Yeh, nice work charismatic evangelicals.
Who do you think you are? If you'd stopped winning, you could have been the Biggest Loser, if you gave up, you could have been a Survivor, if you'd stopped reading Orwell, you could have been on Big Brother!

When you see how children are taught in SK, the least of your problems is being taught the wrong thing.

So many of them are raised without the ability to think independantly through nothing but drill and parrot learning that it's amazing SK produces some of cutting edge innovations in things like PCs and TVs.

Then again, I think the majority of those companies and specifically the R&D departments are run by Expats ><.

As far as religion is involved, I believe these pictures sum it up in a small way...

I wish I had a picture of looking out off the top of my apartment in Mia. Counting church crosses was like playing spot the soldier on the Korean border...

Ja, I saw some video footage of the charismatic churches a few weeks back - scary stuff.

...yet somehow less creepy than the sweaty, mouthbreathing Southern evangelical pastors - the ones who heal people in the name of JAYZUZ!

It's utterly fascinating to me that Christianity permeated South Korea but barely dented the rest of East Asia.
