Defence Hot Issues Briefs to be Made Public

This is one of those times where I would love to draw a picture of the literal interpretation of that headline.

Oh screw it, there is almost nothing not hilariously awesome about this article:
The Hot Issues Briefs provide advice to the minister on complex matters and incidents, including inappropriate behaviour by defence force personnel.
Speaking in Perth today, Mr Smith said the release will streamline the process and denied it would put further strain on his relationship with the department.
"It'll reinforce the notion of transparency - that's a good thing. But it will also enforce the notion that inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated," he said.
