You may not be aware, but the British royal family refused permission for satirical/comedy shows to use the footage of the recent wedding.
This is, for example, why the Chaser had to put their stuff on gootube (where it continues to be viewed) instead of airing it on one of the ABCs (after which it would have been promptly forgotten).
The whole scenario upset the Daily Show's writers a little - which isn't surprising - and they retaliated with this:

The bottom line here is that muzzling satirists is a great way to draw additional attention from satirists.
Also: Royal family minders have absolutely no sense of humour.
