So today I recieved a present from my school. As is fairly customary around this time, the school buys a gift for the teachers to celebrate the holiday.

No, there really is a flowering plant called the "rape". I remember distinctly translating a short story back in University and realized that the imagery in Japanese looked a lot different than the vibe I was getting in English.
