We're migrating sites, voice servers and data in the next few days, so the site or parts of it may experience downtime.
Will let you guys know when everything is back to normal.

Who do you think you are? If you'd stopped winning, you could have been the Biggest Loser, if you gave up, you could have been a Survivor, if you'd stopped reading Orwell, you could have been on Big Brother!

I don't expect the downtime to be extensive or even necessarily noticeable - shouldn't last long.
I... hope...

Will it occur during raid time though? I'm quite dependant on a ping reduction service to keep my going since I've got an ordinary connection due to school holidays and congestion.

Oh right.
Nah, nothing to do with TruePing - that's all hosted offshore and (will soon) have redundancy built in to the master server.
This is just for the Molotov site/forums, apologies for the confusion. Will change the thread title to avoid same again.

Speaking of Trueping though, any issues atm Cart? Getting some abnormally high latency (400ms). Seem to be basically no different to the latency I get without it...
Re: Molotov site/forums downtime - 12th to the 13th Jan 2011
do not know where you are mickey but there is a lot of disruption and rerouting of traffic all along the east coast at the moment due to the flooding in queensland.

Which cluster are you routing through, and if you quit TP while you're logged into wow, is it kicking you?

I haven't received any other reports of problems with either LA cluster... have you tried it using LA2?Jmickey wrote:LA1. And yes, it DC's me from WoW if I exit it.
Failing that, you can try a pathping to see if there are any silly routing issues:
pathping lasb1.trueping.net

Re: Molotov site/forums downtime - 12th to the 13th Jan 2011
500ms on LA2.
Pathping seems normal.
Not sure what it could be. I jump onto my back lowerping account and I go back to about 220ms.
Pathping seems normal.

Do you have the rest of the pathping handy?
