Burning Crusade - 60-70

Post by Xact » 12 Sep 2006, 18:54

Well me and Vykos where on vent just before the servers went down and i was saying how im not looking forward to Burning Crusade, basically because of the grind from 60-70 (and not getting to down all the 40 man raids as a 60) and we had a word about what the equivalent of 60-70 will be.

I said 1-60 all over again (probably a bit extreme but maybe) and

Vykos thought 40-60

What do you think it will be

its gonna be interesting tho.... wonder whats gonna happen to all the teir raid gear.... all the hard out guilds are gonna have to start all over again I think!

also good times to be a shammy!

i dont have a calculator nearby, so the best i can do is guess....somewhere between 2.75-3.25M XP will be needed....which is the equivalent of lvling from 37-41ish to 60

would be nice if we got 1.5 to 2 lvls of rested XP....but who knows....on the plus side, think of the XP youll get in MC and ZG, whilst collecting loot.....i dont think itll be too much of a strain

for an interesting XP graph....go here http://www.worldofwar.net/guides/experiencechart/

lol that graphs pretty good, never real saw it as that, just easy to 45 then hard to 60 lol.

And yeh, MC runs will be good xp + epics for all! =) sounds like good times ahead now that i think about it

I only hope I can rep farm alot of the way, lvling to 68 then rep farming instead of instance farming makes pat a dull boy.

Should we create how a "how many people have planned time off work or defered uni for the BC release" lol. I havn't yet <alt><tab> /submits leave app.

I'm looking forward to the BC. The loot issue is an interesting thing tho. Its quite possible that with the new instances that are planned the blue loot from those in the low-mid 60's will be better than the Tier 1/2 raid sets. I have a gut feeling that MC will be a little run place once a month or two have passed. Guess we'll see...

I know the proposed changes to raid sizes have upset some of the guilds that have fundamentally based themselves around 40 man content.
My head is the best looking part of me.

I'm sure blizz will throw a patch in to make people clear MC AQ 40 Naxx once the BC comes out, perhaps not MC.

They did it to dire maul & Sunken Temple, the way I see it is if you can skip an instance in the game blizz makes you go there somehow.

I'm kind of hoping they will with AQ40 & Naxx at least. I really want to see some of the boss fights in them 1st hand.

wouldn't surprise me, Naxx would lose its sting for 40 level 65's
Now my cat won't eat regular food, honestly if I knew it was going to be this must trouble I would have just buried that hooker.

you can but it's obscenely gimped

like a -200 applied just for being in a raid, thats on top of the /40 you get for all the members
