I've had this for the past 36 hours or so after I made some pesto at work on monday, which leads me to believe that the people who have the pesto may also be in for a treat... sounds awesome for the reputation of a restaurant/cafe.
I think the worst part was I could barely taste the bacon in my sandwish yesterday... it tasted like aluminium, and so does everything else. What's a chef to do that can't taste?!
Oh nuts!

damn!
I always knew those nuts were bad news! I dont like pine nuts at the best of times
Mew, a chef without taste is like a fish without gills... you are gonna have a tough time being a chef for a while.
hope it clears up soon

Beh, not really. There's no substitute for taste testing something. The place I'm at now isn't so crash hot (Breakfast stuff mostly), so it won't be so bad.Obsolet wrote:smell will help

I've just lost my appetite for everything, and I still love pine nuts. Hopefully it'll be a short term case. I don't wanna go a month without tasting anything... although it could be an oppurtunity to get into some hard liquor and avoid the harsh tastes.
