MOYB accounting software - anyone used it?

Hey all,

Anyone used this program at all for accounting?
im looking for a new job and everyone seems to want people with experience in it zzz

is it hard to use?

if not can you point me to something that might give me some diagrams etc of what it looks like

Its one of the easier accounting software to use out there at the moment. I haven't used it since High School but it seemed pretty straight forward.

I'd say you'd have to at least do a course (1-2day) and you'll get a booklet etc and you'll be then good to go.

Basically any job involving this seems to be around 60k/65k mark :D

That does sound a wee bit high to me, but Accounts Personnel (i.e. Bookkeepers) can earn up to 50k a year Rico. I'd say at least a 5yr minimal experience before you reach that level though.

Financial controllers (Which are for the more complex stuff above) can earn 100k+ even in medium-turnover companies.

man i have got to quit my job, i managed to bring in $62k in the last financial year, but thats only coz of the god damn annual bonus and insentives. The base pay sucks. Welcome to a career in sales.

i need to really look into it, probably get some time off and fork out the 400 bucks to learn the software on a training course.

I would suggest before going into the MYOB course to polish off a little bit of your basic accounting skills
