I am not sure if the guild has been collecting gems in prep for the expansion, but when you look at this list of things needed to power level the trade skill to 300 I noticed tons of stuff that presently aren't worth crap on the AH. I see two oppertunities...

1. to make a ton of gold
2. to save a ton of gold.

I would suggest we start a bank toon to house all the matts to power level two jemcrafters.... at present the mats would be dirt cheap.... just a thought... I am sure many people have seen this list already and had the same idea (I see prices going up on all this stuff)... for those of you that have not ... here's the link

Actually, I HAVE been accumulating mats for Jewel Crafting, for the last 3-4 months. My intention is to turn my 60 mage into a Jewel Crafter once the expansion comes out. I already have an alt nearly full of various mats just for Jewel Crafting. However, I am still lacking some of the mats that will be necessary, especially at the high end. Fortunately, there is still time plenty of time for me to hunt down more mats before BC arrives.

i only have skinning atm, if u need a jewel crafter i was gonna learn it when BC comes out, would be happy to be 1 of the 2

same here... on my low level alts in gorgonash, i've always taken mining as a profession to gather the gems stones watherver not. so i got an alt juz storing gems and i'lve brought them to khaz as well

I have a buttload of gems too on both of my alts that I've been saving for BC
