Server Downtime - May 2007

Post by Cartollomew » 26 Apr 2007, 13:33

...will coincide with my moving house. Amazing how that works, huh?

From the 4th of May, the Molotov website and forums will be down; this will likely last 2-3 days.

If I get adequate time (and can pilfer stuff from work) I might give the server a new home too, this should not effect downtime too much, but might result in a day of dodgy access.

Provided my ISP is cooperative, everything should be back up and running fine by the 7th at the latest.

Who do you think you are? If you'd stopped winning, you could have been the Biggest Loser, if you gave up, you could have been a Survivor, if you'd stopped reading Orwell, you could have been on Big Brother!

Update: Expect roughly 45 mins downtime later tonite (Wed 16 May).

This should be the last scheduled downtime for a while; once we're back up, the forums will be a tad speedier.

Aaaand we're back.

Seems the car trips did the server some good; whatever voodoo I did to make it recognise the additional hard drives in it is working again too.

I apologise for the extended downtime we've had this month; should be fine for the foreseable future.
