We ventured further into SSC and got a look at Fathom-Lord Karathress. He's kind of like Maulgar 2.0, and once you iron out a few positioning issues, he isn't actually much more difficult. We made short work of FLK, learning the fight from first pull to death in 2 hours. Excellent work guys!

Selten's T4 leggings still haven't dropped....but he's got T5 now, so he can be a little less bitter.

Don't bore us, get to the chorus....well here's the money shot:

WTF? No Vargoth? You guys are slipping.

What is FLK? That is the real question, and one McWalters asked of us post boss kill. Surely it's a question of metaphysics, and leads to the ultimate question of 'what is reality'? Is FLK a mob in a game? Is the reality in which he exists a matrix style dream? Am I a brain in a jar and you are all figments of my imagination? Do you exist? Descartes defined thought as the only thing that was real, and seeing as I think, therefore I exist, and thus this is the only certainty one has in life. Given that FLK exists in the thoughts of each of the 25 raiders that were there to see him downed, he must exist, but in what capacity? McWalters wanted us to ponder that.

There was some suggestion by a few that McWalters asked the question because he didn't associate FLK with Fathom-Lord Karathress(yes the boss whose corpse he was standing in front of). I think this is a highly unlikely, bordering on preposterous notion.

We also found time to whack the Pinata:

He drops candy and was a nice reward to top off an excellent weeks progression. Now I've caught back up with posts, you guys need more progression IMO.

Cheers, Saph.

Selten: "Grats on Kaeles Keles KFC or whatever"

Yeah we have a tendency to whoop mobs we don't even know its name
