Re: Learner Driver Ticks Every Box
I'm pretty sure that in NSW there are no demerit points for learners, but any offences simply cancel your license. What are the Victorians thinking?

Re: Death Panda
This video is hilarious!
Apparently Tasmanian Tigers used to prey on sheep, and were exterminated en masse by mad Australians (via machine gun).
I don't get the panda, though.

Re: Best Movie of the century

Re: Confused... Who is the Super Genius?
Nonetheless, I read this article and went "ah, isn't that lovely. Good show!"

Re: Archbishop told abuse victim to 'go to hell'
Waaait a second. You're an old man about to fly overseas, it's 1 am and some woman who has been pestering you recently shows up and rings your doorbell over and over. What the hell would you say? Worse still, this happened five years ago. Why is the Age "reporting" it as news now? They don't care ab...

Re: Complementary Medicine on TV
First up, calling BS. I assume this is your way of saying "I do not agree that what you are saying is true". Assuming this to be so, I do not see where the following refutes anything I have explicitly claimed. Most people aren't atheists . If anything, the pull away from religion has more to do wit...

Re: Complementary Medicine on TV
I am actually convinced that one of the reasons people are so susceptible to this is the over-emphasis of "Science" as the foundation of Truth in Western culture. Yes, I said that. Over-emphasis. Over the past two centuries or so it has become increasingly fashionable to scoff at anything which does...
